School Day

At the beginning of each day the school gates and doors will be open from 8.35am.  

Children are not allowed on the school premises before 8.35am unless they are attending:

- Acorns breakfast club

- An agreed school club

CHILDREN SHOULD BE IN SCHOOL AND IN THEIR CLASSROOMS BY 8.45am

Children who are late

All external doors are closed at 8.45am. If a child has missed the 8.45am cut off, they must access the school via the main entrance, tell office staff and their names will be added to the class register.

Foundation Stage (F2) & Key Stage 1 (Years 1 & 2)

Morning Break           Children will have a 15 minute morning break time at a time to suit their learning

Afternoon Break          2.30pm – 2.45pm

Lessons                       2.45pm – 3.10pm

School finishes            3.15pm 

Key Stage 2 (Years 3, 4, 5 & 6)

Lessons                      8.45am  

Morning Break            10.30 – 10.45am for Yr3 and Yr5 

                                10.50-11.05am for Yr4 and Yr6

Lessons                      10.45am/11.05am – 12.15pm

Lunch                          12.15 -1.15pm

Lessons                       1.15 - 3.10pm

School finishes           3.15pm

At home time children should be taken (by the class teacher or Teaching Assistant) to the playground, where they will be collected. Children must wait with their class teacher until someone collects them.  Any child not collected, should be taken to the office where the Headteacher or responsible Senior Teacher will take responsibility for them.

Parents must not enter the school building via class doors or playground doors. If parents need to gain access to the school building, they must do so via the main entrance and MUST report to the office first.
