Complaints

If you are concerned about any issue relating to your child or the behaviour of a member of school staff, in the first instance you should always:

  1. Address the issue with your child's class teacher and/or teaching assistant* by making an appointment to speak to them, either by phone or in person, via the school office

    *If your concern is related to your child's special educational needs or disabilities (SEND), you should address the issue with  our SENCo (Mrs Neal) by making an appointment to speak to her, either by phone or in person, via the school office

    *If your concern relates to the above members of staff, you should address the issue with the Key Stage Leader
    (Mrs Doig - Early Years, Mrs Knapton - F2, Year 1 and Year 2; Mrs Neal - Years 3,4,5 and 6) by making an appointment to speak to them, either by phone or in person, via the school office

    *If your concern relates to a Key Stage Leader, you should address the issue with the Headteacher (Mrs Ball) by making an appointment to speak to her, either by phone or in person, via the school office

  2. If you are unhappy with the response you receive or the actions taken following your meeting with the member of staff, you should address the issue with the Key Stage Leader* (Mrs Doig - Early Years, Mrs Knapton - F2, Year 1 and Year 2; Mrs Neal - Years 3,4,5 and 6)

    *If your concern relates to a Key Stage Leader, you should address the issue with the Headteacher (Mrs Ball) by making an appointment to speak to her, either by phone or in person, via the school office

  3. If you are unhappy with the response you receive or the actions taken following your meeting with the Key Stage Leader you should address your concerns to the Headteacher* (Mrs Ball).

    *If your concern relates to the Headteacher, you should address the issue with the Chair of Governors in writing, via the school office. You will receive a response within 10 days of receipt of your complaint

  4. If you are unhappy with the response you receive or the actions taken following your meeting with Mrs Ball, you should address your concerns in writing, via the school office to the Governing Board for the attention of The Chair of Governors

    You will receive a response within 10 days of receipt of your complaint
