Welcome to Year 5
Welcome to all our new Year 5 pupils! This year is going to be an amazing year, full of lots of learning, laughter and love.
Our Big Question this term is....
Can it ever be right to invade?
This term we will be learning about the key features of the United Kingdom in Geography, producing writing linked to Arthur and the Golden Rope in our writing lessons, getting lost in the epic Viking saga 'How To Train Your Dragon' in our guided reading, discovering what life was like for the Anglo-Saxons and the Vikings in History, and carrying out some exciting investigations into the properties of materials in Science.
Our main texts for this term are: Arthur and the Golden Rope by Joe Todd-Stanton and How To Train Your Dragon by Cressida Cowell.
