Headteacher's Introduction to Curriculum Morning

Summer Term 2025

Welcome to Year 3

Our Big Question this term is....

Can you see the past in the present?

During this term we will be looking at a range of texts within our writing and whole-class reading lessons, whilst linking them to our Big Question. Our texts this term include: Ug by Raymond Briggs, The Fossil Hunter by Kate Winter, Diary of a Killer Cat by Anne Fine and Iron Man by Ted Hughes.

The Curriculum Page on the website helps you find out much more about each of the subjects during this term.

Please update yourself with the Year 3 Curriculum document that you can download. It has lots of information about our day, what we learn and how we learn. The timetable for a usual week in Year 3 can be downloaded at the bottom of this page.
